Inner Mongolia Hongxing Industry and Trade Co., Ltd was established in May 2019. It is mainly engaged in processing and export of agricultural products such as striped sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. The main striped sunflower seed varieties consist of Size 361, 363, T5 and T6. The company’s founder team has been engaged in the sunflower seed acquisition and processing industry for more than 20 years. With the origin advantage of Hetao Plain Agricultural Products Base, it has formed a broad and solid supply network of farmers and suppliers. The raw material planting area extends to the 3 provinces in Northeastern China and to Xinjiang Autonomous Region in the west. The company has always adhered to the principle of “Quality Assurance, Customer first, Excellent Service and Adherence to Contract”.
The company’s products entered the international market soon after the start-up. Since early of 2020, the products have been exported in batches to countries such as Russia and Turkey and have won a good reputation.
The company has 2 sunflower seed cleaning and screening production lines, and the introduction of the advanced equipments including the specific gravity separator, the grading machine, the stone removal machine, the optical sorter and the manual selection table, etc., can well meet the requirements of customers. In 2023 the factory area were expanded by 3,000 square meters and more equipments were installed, which include 2 gravity separators, one color sorter, one stone removal machine, one magnetic separator and 12 new storage tanks. All these investments lead to an annual output of 25,500 metric tons. The production site of the workshop is managed in strict accordance with the hygiene requirements of food export enterprises. The cleaning and screening methods of sunflower seed raw materials include magnetic separation, pneumatic separation, sieving separation and specific gravity separation. The process of cleaning and screening aims to remove the impurities like stone, mud ball and metals. The process of sorting&grading includes the removal of the defects, namely light&short kernel, shriveled or empty seeds, injured and broken seeds. Then the cleaned, screened and dried seeds are undergoing hand picking before being finally packed for storage or transportation. Each batch of products leaves the factory in strict accordance with China’s standard testing procedures. Their quality and sanitary conditions can meet the export standards for sunflower seeds by the China Commodity Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
